What to wear to class
The right attire keeps students safe, comfortable and able to move freely — and helps instructors see body alignment to teach proper technique.
By class type
- Ballet & Pointe Leotard and tights with pink ballet slippers; pointe shoes for qualifying dancers as approved by the instructor.
- Tap Fitted dancewear with tap shoes (style as directed by your teacher).
- Jazz, Lyrical & Contemporary Fitted dancewear with the appropriate jazz shoes or foot undeez, or as directed by the instructor.
- Hip Hop Comfortable athletic wear with clean, indoor-only sneakers.
- Acro Fitted dancewear, bare feet — no buttons, zippers or loose clothing that could catch.
- Toes & Taps (Ages 2½–4) Any comfortable dancewear your little one can move in, with ballet slippers and tap shoes. We keep it relaxed and fun for first-time dancers.
